<Patrick Donnelly> I'm sure I can figure that part out but I need to know who's involved with maintaining the VM

<Patrick Donnelly> cc @Josh Durgin do you know?

<Anthony D'Atri> Adam AFAIK

<Anthony D'Atri> If we’re going to do it ourselves we need a better location, be it a better VM (no spinner) in the existing infrastructure or elsewhere with a modern OS. We should also look into periodic backups.

I’m the only one actively maintaining Ceph-users ( at least ) via root on the VM. Happy to help.

<Patrick Donnelly> I would plan to first migrate all persistent data (including the archives) to the LRC

<Anthony D'Atri> LRC?

<Joao Eduardo Luis> I believe that's where the teuthology logs and other stuff was being kept, but haven't kept track of it for a while

<Anthony D'Atri> So this VM is within Sepia? All I know is an IP address, have not previously been involved with upstream infra.

<Anthony D'Atri> Adam told me that the storage is on HDDs. Which may be part of why the list se was so slow as to time out when there were 650+ held messages and a flood of spam.

<Anthony D'Atri> I unsubbed and banned the offenders and weekly process held messages, 90% of which are spam. I carefully accept the legit then discard the rest.

Any issue? please create an issue here and use the infra label.
