<Xiubo Li> There hasn't any build yet
2024-07-10T01:14:23.142Z
<Erich Weiler> OK, just let me know how I can test/verify when the time comes
2024-07-10T01:14:29.631Z
<Xiubo Li> maybe you could trigger a build from [Shaman](https://shaman.ceph.com/builds/ceph/)
2024-07-10T01:14:56.466Z
<Xiubo Li> But not sure could you download the rpms from it
2024-07-10T01:15:46.291Z
<Erich Weiler> Yeah I don’t know how to do this - I’ve deployed ceph via the cephadm method, so if I were to manually start updating rpms I guess I’d have to know exactly which ones to update, on which server, and how to go about deploying them.

<Erich Weiler> Is there any way the build would eventually appear in the `[centos-ceph-reef-test]` yum repository?
2024-07-10T01:19:11.593Z
<Xiubo Li> I believe you could see this after we backporting it to reef.
2024-07-10T01:20:21.960Z
<Erich Weiler> Great! Then I could just upgrade it normally to the latest reef minor revision.
2024-07-10T01:42:51.304Z
<Erich Weiler> So your PR made it through such that it will appear automatically in some future version? Maybe the next released reef?
2024-07-10T03:10:31.369Z
<Xiubo Li> not sure it will go next release, we need to do a lot of tests before that, so it maybe deferred
2024-07-10T03:11:56.784Z
<Erich Weiler> OK! Well, if there is a “blessed” way that I can safely upgrade and test it, do let me know the process. I don’t think this kind of manual upgrade is documented anywhere.

<Rishabh Dave> @Venky Shankar @Milind Changire There's a client log for teuthology job of ~10GB, is there a convenient way to download it? Text editor hangs for several minutes if try to open it without downloading and download speed is keeps dropping to 200 kbps which doesn't happen for any other download other download from Sepia lab machines.

<Milind Changire> have you mounted the `/teuthology` share from the lab on your laptop
if you do so, you could just `cp` that file to a local folder

<Rishabh Dave> @Milind Changire that would do the same op behind the scene and `cp` won't even report the speed unlike `wget` and `scp`

<Dhairya Parmar> this still needs a failsafe mechanism.
2024-07-10T14:46:46.808Z
<Dhairya Parmar> this shouldn't be rejected
