<biboli> I have a question about the rados protocol, specifically the BANNER. I would assume, but it's not explicitly stated anywhere, that the purpose of the BANNER exchange in the handshake is to ensure protocol compatibility between the client and the server, meaning as long as the protocol version does not change (eg. to "v028"), the protocol does not change in any incompatible way. Is this a correct assumption?
